Capt. Thomas Barlow is a U.S Coast Guard licensed Captain as well as a Texas Parks and Wildlife licensed guide.

 

Guided Trips with Capt. Thomas leave from Bayou Vista, Texas at Capt. Thomas’s home, or local boat ramps and marinas in the area.  

 

Inshore Bay Trips: 4-person MAX, unless wading  

Half-Day - $450 (6 hours)

Full-Day - $550 (8-9 hours)

Trip rates above apply to THREE passengers. A fourth passenger is an additional $75. Your trip includes all tackle and artificial baits needed. Live bait is available for an additional charge. 

 

We can also arrange multi-boat trips for larger parties. These trips can be hard to schedule, so please allow adequate time to put a trip together. 

 

We can custom design specific trips for targeted fish, styles, tournaments or specific techniques. Please ask, and we will do our best to provide you with exactly what you would like. 

 

Tower Boat Trips: 2-person MAX

$500, redfish only

 

Near-Shore Trips: Near-shore trips are jetty and beachfront outings in search of big bull redfish, sharks, ling, tripletail and other larger species. For safety reasons, these trips are ONLY available when we have calm, predictable weather patterns, which are most common in the months of July, August and early September.

Full-Day Only - $650. (all bait provided)

 

Poling Skiff Trips: Poling skiff trips are available for 1 or 2 people. These trips are specifically designed for sight casting to shallow-water redfish with conventional or fly tackle.

Half-Day - $425

Full-Day - $500

 

Tackle: Capt. Thomas provides all rods and reels, as well as artificial lures. Rods and reels are combos that are kept in excellent condition. Examples of the products you’ll use are H&H Custom Rods, Lew’s reels, BAAD Marine jigheads, Down South Lures , Mirrolure hard baits and a variety of hard- and soft-plastic lures. Capt. Thomas prefers to support and work with local companies, so you will see mainly lures designed for Texas waters, by Texas fishermen.

 

What to bring: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, drinks, food, camera, ice chest for your catch (to be left at my dock, no additional ice chests are allowed on the boat), appropriate clothing for current weather 

 

Capt. Thomas provides: high quality rods and reels, tackle and artificial lures, live bait is available for an additional charge, Ice for drinks/fish, fish processing at the dock, lots of FUN.

 

Captain Thomas reserves the right to cancel trips due to weather or unsafe conditions.
